FAQ

Common Tree Questions from South Metro Atlanta Residents

  • Why should I consider tree removal?

There are several strong reasons to consider tree removal:

    • A dead or dying tree
    • A building or property expansion
    • A tree too close to the house
    • A tree interfering with aesthetic

If you are unsure about whether your tree should be removed, give us a call. We can evaluate the tree and offer our recommendations.

  • Do I need a permit to remove a tree?

If you live in Peachtree City, Georgia, the answer is YES.

  • What is the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?

Most homeowners will not pursue stump removal unless it is absolutely necessary because that means removing the stump, including the roots beneath. The stump removal process will be intrusive to your soil and yard. Stump grinding removes the tree trunk but does not remove every root below ground. Grinding the stump down will resolve most unsightly stump issues without destroying your existing landscaping.
